2. Data we collect

Contact forms may collect name, email, preferred session date, consultation interest, degree field, and message content. Emails and calls may add further details you choose to share (e.g. residence basis relevant to career planning). Server logs may include IP address and browser type for security.

3. Purposes and legal bases

We process enquiry data to respond to consultation requests and to perform pre-contractual steps (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Site security and essential cookies rely on legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)). Optional analytics cookies run only with consent (Art. 6(1)(a)).

4. Retention

Unsuccessful enquiries are generally deleted within 12 months. Client engagement records are retained as required for tax and contractual purposes, typically up to 10 years for invoicing-related documents under German commercial rules, and shorter where only advisory notes apply.

5. Recipients

We use hosting and email providers as processors under contract. We do not sell personal data. Immigration lawyers or other specialists are contacted only when you ask us to introduce you.

6. International transfers

If a processor stores data outside the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses where required.

7. Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection where applicable. You may withdraw consent for optional cookies at any time without affecting prior lawful processing. You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, including the Brandenburg data protection authority.
