Engagement process
What happens between your first email and a usable search plan
This page maps the consulting rhythm we use for international graduates seeking work in Germany—so you know what to prepare and what you will leave with.
1. Enquiry
You write with your degree, graduation date, current city, and residence basis. We confirm whether a strategy session, document clinic, or interview rehearsal is the right start—usually within two working days.
2. Questionnaire
A short form covers target industries, German and English comfort, and constraints (commute radius, earliest start date). Incomplete forms delay the session; we would rather wait for clear inputs.
3. Document glance
Before we meet, we skim your Lebenslauf and one sample Anschreiben. This is not the full clinic—just enough to avoid spending the first twenty minutes on formatting basics.
4. Live session
Ninety minutes in Cottbus or on video. We rank role types, name application volume, and rehearse how you will describe your status if asked. You leave with verbal priorities the same day.
5. Written plan
Within three working days you receive a one-page plan: weekly actions, employer criteria, and checkpoints for interview practice. Clarifying questions by email are included for seven days.
6. Optional add-ons
If the plan exposes weak documents or shaky interview answers, we schedule the Lebenslauf clinic or interview rehearsal as separate bookings—never bundled as surprise upsells mid-session.
What we need from you
- Honest language levels—not aspirational labels
- Permit expiry month and any pending appointments
- Willingness to cut low-fit vacancies from your list
- Space in your calendar for the four-week cadence
