Refund and cancellation policy

This policy applies to paid consultations with Dev Analytics—employment consulting in Germany focused on job search strategy for international university graduates—including strategy sessions, document clinics, interview rehearsals, and residence-aware mapping.

Eligibility

Refunds apply to fees paid directly to Dev Analytics for scheduled consulting work. They do not apply to third-party costs you incur (travel, notarisation, translation).

Deposit

We may request a deposit of up to 30% to reserve a session slot. The deposit is credited toward the session fee. Deposits become non-refundable if you cancel within 48 hours of the session start time, except where we cancel or we agree that illness documented the same day prevented attendance.

Full refund

You receive a full refund if we cancel a session and cannot offer a suitable alternative within 14 days, or if you cancel in writing more than 7 days before the session and no written deliverable has been started.

Partial refund

If you cancel between 7 days and 48 hours before the session, we refund 50% of the fee (or of the remaining balance after a non-refundable deposit). If preparatory document review has already begun for a clinic, we may retain a preparation fee of €40 and refund the remainder.

Non-refundable items

• Completed sessions (including strategy sessions already held)
• Written plans, annotated Lebensläufe, or feedback emails already delivered
• No-shows without notice
• Optional add-ons you requested after the main session and that we already performed

Rescheduling

You may reschedule once at no charge with at least 48 hours’ notice. Further reschedules may incur a €25 administration fee. We will reschedule without fee if our consultant is unavailable.

Work already started

For document clinics, “started” means we have opened your files and begun markup. For strategy sessions, preparation of the intake summary counts as started within 24 hours of the appointment.

Refund process and timing

Email hello@devanalytics.digital with your booking date and reason. We confirm eligibility within five working days. Approved refunds are returned via the original payment method within 14 working days.

Method

Bank transfer or the card channel originally used. We do not issue cash refunds at the office.
